How Does It Work?

Speedshield is a control box rated up to 90v DC hard wired into any vehicle without the need for converters or additional connectors. The system interacts with the electronic controls of the vehicle including the ignition and engine control unit.

The control box contains a roaming GSM transmitter which communicates the information securely to your online reporting system, which means that you have no software to load or licences to buy.

The system also allows two-way communication from any internet enabled PC to the vehicle. This allows the managers of the system to set the maximum vehicle speed of the fleet, reducing fuel costs and reducing the risk of accidents. The system can be changed instantly to suit the needs of your business day or night.
